Day 1 of the return journey is over and we are tucked up in the Fairfield Inn, very close to the airport.
This morning we had a last (hooray) Dennys breakfast and did a bit of sorting of luggage before a late checkout. I was very happy to hand the car back at the airport in good condition but in need of a wash. Huge sigh of relief.
We were very, very early for our flight so did a bit of wandering up and down past the gate lounges. It’s not a very large airport but there was always something to look at outside. Our lunch, which was surprisingly ok came from Tim Horton’s. We both did Wordle and Waffle as well.
Our flight was about 3 hours and once again there was a one and a half hour time difference. Newfoundland has its own special time zone.
I’ve set the alarm for 5.30 tomorrow morning so it’s time to sleep now.
