Melbourne to Boston
It’s 9.45 and we are back in our very comfortable apartment in the Italian area of Boston after an enormous (Italian) meal a couple of blocks away. If we didn’t already know we were in America, the size of the servings and of the glasses of red would have told us so.
Although it’s been a very long day, the walk and the meal have woken us up and so has the temperature, which is currently -3. People keep telling us we’re crazy coming here at this time of year.
The flights were good and as Karyn had arranged a taxi service to pick us up at the airport we found our way to our accommodation with no problems. The trickiest thing was the door handle, which turns up instead of down.
Time now to get horizontal and hopefully to sleep.
